Very easy to understand and to follow

Okay, this is all new to me....I have never even heard of this kind of meal planning and eating and all this. I get it. I plan to try this because I wish to get back down about 10 pounds within the next two months. I have such a crazy out of control diet anyway so with something this easy, I can do this. The truth is I didn't think I'd like this book, but I actually really enjoyed the information and found it very easy to read and follow so far. It's plain and simple. I think it is going to work mainly because it is so easy and so simple.

I am not a super big gym goer but that is something I wish to change too because before I worked out with a trainer for about 6 months. That was a lot of fun. SO I look forward to he results and for now I am happy to have learned something totally new.

Helpful Insights for benefits of short-fasts

I got into a conversation the other day with the author of Intermittent Fasting and decided to pick up a copy of his book. I am a health coach, and am always interested in various ways to help people be healthier, maintain good weight and get into shape. I am glad I actually picked up a copy, and didn’t get deterred by the cover. The cover is very geared toward people who work out, lift weights, bodybuild. The information in this book can apply to anyone, though. The author explains the benefits of intermittent fasting- which means you go for certain periods of time during the day without eating. This can be anything from a regular block of time, to a regular, weekly full day fast. He also gives handy tips for ways to manage fasting periods, as well as offering advice for what, how and why to choose optimal foods. I would also add that fasting allows the body to rid itself from toxins, and put the body into a better state for healing/rest/ recovery. And almost every culture has some tradition of dedicated days of fasting. This is an easy read and offers some valuable insights.

I read this book not because I wanted to lose weight but because after a certain age you get a little jiggly.Yep,I've developed the arm flag.So old ladyish and limiting to the clothes you can wear. I've heard about fasting but only the whole day or week fast.But this book tells you different types of fasting, some less than a whole day.Now that I can do.You will learn the meaning of intermittent fasting and how to decide which one is best for you.The book is easy yo understand and is written in a way that you can come back and reference information you need. You will learn what to expect bodywise and health wise.It tells you about heath problems that intermittent fasting will help you with.There's also exercises to help you build your lean muscles.And they aren't crazy never heard of exercises either. And an aspect that's often overlooked when trying to loose weight or build your body up is how well you sleep. It explains techniques that involve all the senses so you can try them out to see what works for you. The plans in the book seem so simple but they are effective if to you use them right.I've had no problem following the plans.My only complaint is that the cover makes it look like its only for serious bodybuilders which isn't true at all.As always,check with your Dr to find out which method is safe for you.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion
