This book changed my life

This was a very informative and easy to read guide on a condition that I am experiencing. I am learning that I am not alone. There are literally thousands of people diagnosed with this auto immune disorder. I sense there is an even greater number of folks who have not been diagnosed. the medical community is all over the place on this condition. I have been frustrated beyond belief with the way I have been treated when I seek medical attention. I am currently on a thyroid medication called Naturethyroid. I am not convinced this is the appropriate treatment. I have decided to take matters into my own hands. This book has given me the confidence and basic information to do so. I strongly feel my diet can assist me greatly. I am making significant life-style changes such as no caffeine, alcohol, added sugar, gluten & processed foods. I am also talking to my body. We are in a partnership to create optimum health and well being. I am exploring other treatment alternatives as well such as acupuncture, energy healing, meditation, daily walks which always include being barefoot for at least 15 minutes, integrative medicine and wholistic practices. This book was instrumental in getting me to take charge. I ordered the Kindle first. I am waiting for delivery of the hard copy b/c there are many great looking recipes I want to try. For this kind of regular use, I need and want a hard copy. I highly recommend this book.

I decided to grab a copy of this well-written and very informative book because lately I have been experiencing slow down of my voice. Though, thyroid problem is rare case for men but then I have a doubt might the one I am suffering is Hashimotos. This book provides relevant information on thyroid gland, symptoms are cited giving me a hint on how to examine myself. For those who have not experienced this thing, Hashimotos Thyroiditis is auto immune disorder wherein the immune cells attacked the thryroid gland and produces inflammation. Since, we’ve learned here so many things about thyroid problem like having this can create complication in the heart and a lot more. Aside from that, the author is trying to provide a simple technique on how to be cured and be able to live a healthy life that is Hashimotos free.

Hashimotos Thyroiditis...Everything you need to know.

Very educational book on Hashimotos Thyroiditis! Very easy to read book even though I did not know a whole lot about it before reading the book, but because my wife's mom suffers from swollen thyroids I decided to read the book. Owen goes into great detail about what the Thyroid gland is and what it does in your body. He even lets you know the symptoms each part of the body will show if you have it!
I loved how the writer showed the causes of Hashimotos Thyroiditis and how to diagnose it. Owen even gives you details on how to avoid the disease.
The best part of the book is that he gives you a diet on what you should eat and what not to eat if you have the disease. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to know more about the Thyroid.
