Shining Scars

These deeply personal stories are told with such intimacy and immediacy that the visceral response they evoke lingers long after each story’s end. They illuminate not only individual experience, impact and insight, but also thought-provoking musings about the interpersonal, cultural, psychological, sociological and existential relevance of scars. Very emotionally challenging and intellectually stimulating. I'm still reeling after my second read.
