Five Stars for Gut-Busting Tips

This book is helpful in that it clearly explains the reasons why people are often “yo-yoing in size.” I enjoyed learning about the process in which proteins, fats, and sugars are used by the body. Explanations about the labeling of packaging GMOs and organic products were informative. Chapter 5 seems out of place as it rants about the dark side of the FDA and drug companies. Many of the weight loss tips were predictable, but the tasty smoothie recipes make up for that disappointment.

Very Helpful Book!

The Diet Myth is a comprehensive guide to everything you need to know about losing weight and staying healthy! I was really pleased with all the information I found about everything from motivation to organic foods. Chapter two was my favorite, and there were a lot of details that I didn't know that I found hugely helpful. There's a large section about sugar that also makes a big impact on you if you're the type of person to ignore your sugar intake like myself. The chapter about meal planning is also super helpful, especially if like me that's not something you're good at doing. There's a lot of information packed into this book that will make a definite impact on your attempts to diet!

Very Helpful Book to Help Eating Healthier!

After reading The Diet Myth: Mistakes that Are Making You Fat and Simple Secrets to Weight Loss, Lose Weight and Keep It Off, I know a lot more about what is in food and how to eat better. Dieting is always difficult, and it has led to me constantly losing and gaining weight without real results. I think the ideas presented in this book, especially how to plan out grocery shopping trips and work eating healthy foods into your daily routine will be doable and help me become healthier. I really wish there were specific references to other materials to read in order to learn more about healthy eating!
