Great for students and history papers!

I have personally tried to read "Guns, Germs, and Steel" before, for personal development and for a school assignment (different occasions). But both times I was unable to finish, which is unusual for me. While the subject material is intriguing, and the author's voice is captivating, the book reads much more like a textbook than I would like. Which left me burned out.
However, this review was incredible because it helped me get the message of the book without being put to sleep. The 8 key takeaways are on point, and explore the fascinating history of the Eurasian nations in comparison to the rest of the world. The sixth takeaway, about governmental structure, was my favorite part. Because of these large governments that sponsored bureaucracies, Eurasian nations were more prone for exploration and exploitation.
I would recommend any student who, like me, found themselves struggling to finish "Guns, Germs, and Steel" in order to write a paper.

As someone who enjoys reading but sometimes can’t find the time to explore all her interest, Guns, Germs, & Steel by Jared Diamond | Key Takeaways, Analysis & Review: The Fates of Human Societies by Eureka Books is a valuable resource for me. I have so many books on my “To Read” list that sometimes I have a hard time deciding which one to read next. Eureka Books removes the guess-work out of the equation. Whenever I’m interested in a book I just get the review and it helps me decide whether I want to invest time in reading the entire text.
Eureka Books does a great job of reviewing and analyzing this book. It is also well-written, clear, and concise. Inside this review book, you will find and overview of the publication and some details about the important people related to the text. You are also given a list and description of each of the key points. The key points are analyzed and explained. The review book ends with a short description of the author’s style and perspective.
