This is a very nice calendar to color if you are a fan of ...

This is a very nice calendar to color if you are a fan of mandala/paisley/abstract type of designs. This one doesn't include any animals, objects, monthly themes, etc. (see my photos). The designs will keep you busy for quite a while, but not so intricate that you will lose your sanity!
Many of the months have designs open enough that you could even use crayons. A few of them may require a finer tip. The paper is bright white, smooth, and thick enough that you shouldn't get bleed through with most mediums.
Inside the cover are the last 6 months from 2015, so you can actually start using it now. It measures the size of a standard wall calendar (about 12x12").

It's ok, not great, but ok

This calendar is ok. I like the designs. But you cannot color ahead, you must color once you are using that month. Why? Because if you use gel pens or markers you will bleed through and ruin the calendar days for the coming months. And once you write on the calendar (I use my calendars to mark appointments and holidays etc.) then the writing is going to show on the next months design you are going to color if you use a marker or push on the pen or pencil. I was hoping for a bit heavier paper so there wouldn't be this issue.
I also wish it had some type of frame or ending around each months design so that there was a formal stopping point for the picture.
As far as being 18 months, yes, there are 6 months of calendars on the inside of the first cover, but there aren't 18 individual months in this calendar, just 12.
