As a Self-Defense Professional and Seasoned Law Enforcement Officer I Highly recommend This Book

This book is a tool box of effective proactive and action strategies clearly laid out and backed with experience. As a seasoned Law enforcement Officer and Corrections Officer I would never recommend a book on personal safety that didn’t deliver . No matter how many years of Martial Arts training you have you can’t teach people how to realistically protect themselves unless you are trained directly from a legitimate source. As a COBRA instructor and lifetime Martial artist Glenn’s book is loaded with ”The Reality “ of self-defense. Great Job Glenn and keep up the good work.

This book is really quite amazing because I feel like its given me my power ...

As a woman in my now 40's I have always been the strong confident type up until the past few years where I found I have been bombarded with media about abductions, rapes, attacks etc and I now suffer with the occasional anxiety attack over these things......
This book is really quite amazing because I feel like its given me my power back. I have personally taken my young children to Glenn's anti abduction course which is also fantastic and as a parent I learnt so much there, but Don't Be A VICTIM has really taken things to a new empowering level for me. Some of the things in this very easy to read book I currently do and I thought I did them well, but Glenn has now challenged me to improve my ways.
I also was one of these people that thought these books were all about teaching us how to fight but although Glenn has given me great tools (even with illustrations which I loved), I found that the majority of the book was about my mindset and what is going on around me.
Thanks so much Glenn and although I've been teased many times from family for listening to "my gut feeling" I now know this is exactly what I need to do. I'm also going to get my teenage daughter to read it as I believe there's so much for her to learn also.

Self defense is necessary to learn to be safe.

This book is so useful and very informative. I thought the book is all about self defense, what I mean is how to fight back to anyone who is doing bad to you. But, it gives me clear perspective that self defense is not about kicking and punching, it's about avoidance, awareness, setting strong boundaries. Generally, the book is so efficiently written by its author especially because it has a strong conceptions about defending self by means of avoiding it. It said that it is very important that we have to assess the situation first. It has also quizzes that are inspiring to answer. All the moves at the last pages are all necessary to make your self safe at all times. So let's get prepared.
