This is the right book to help yourself to overcome depression!

This past few day, I read some books about anxiety and depression to help my cousins to overcome her depression when she lost her mother. This book is really a motivator for those who are suffering from depression. Reading this book you will learned how to overcome depression by helping your own self. Sarah Palmer's advise were really true to keep away from feeling depressed. Going out and Communicating to others is really effective.
I gave this to my cousin and after she reads it. She thank me for a great and wonderful book, She said that this book help her to reflect on herself. She got enlightened and she started open herself to us.Seeing her with others is an improvement and I knew she will totally cope up with her depression in a right time.Highly Recommended!

Portable reminder to help you manage your symptoms

After listening to some podcasts recently, I realized that some of my issues are stemming from a mild depression. The intro to this book reassures you that you are not weird or crazy just because you suffer from depression. I think that is an important sentiment to be reminded of. The author suggests that you keep this book handy and refer back to it as needed. I think that is smart advice. While we know what we should be doing to combat the affects of depression, sometimes we need a reminder of the small things we can do each day. I like that one of her suggestions was to volunteer at animal shelter. I like it because I do just that. I go at times the shelter is closed to the public so I don't have to deal with people. And it makes me feel so much better to helping innocent, unfortunate animals. I feel like Sarah Palmer is in tune with how to give someone a handy, quick and not overwhelming guide to making their situation more manageable.

disappointment, and hopelessness

Major depression is one of the most debilitating illnesses affecting Americans today. It can affect your ability to function, think, and feel. More specifically, it is a mood problem noted by pervasive sadness, disappointment, and hopelessness. The depressed person usually has difficulty finding pleasure in life, has feelings of intense loneliness, and has limited energy to engage in life activities. Most people have periods when they feel discouraged about their circumstances. However, true depression goes deeper by lasting longer and impacting one’s whole existence. This book from author Sarah Palmer will give the reader full guide on how to overcome depression through self help. It may not be that easy, but it will be a great step in over coming such. I will be keeping this book for future reference. I will surely recommend this to all readers as well. Very nice one.!
