What a fantastic read!

The title of this book is both intriguing and captivating, and I had to order it right away the moment I saw it. I sure am glad I did too.
What a great read it turned out to be. The author of this hilarious yet highly informative book tells the reader of her own struggle with weight gain. I have been fighting a battle with food and weight loss myself for almost two decades, so I was able to truly relate.
The author teaches the reader to have a better relationship with and thought process about losing weight and dieting. Thinking that you can succeed is more than half the battle.
I personally cannot wait to start trying some of the ideas outlined in this book. Simple, easy changes can really add up to big weight loss, as demonstrated by the author. She dropped a large amount of weight in a short time, and by following her lead, any of us struggling with weight loss can do the same.

Ditch the Diet

Losing weight is a pain, and generally it takes way too long and people give up so very easily. Diets don't work, I don't care if you say you have had one work for you before, diets are not long term and thus you will gain all of the weight back with a vengeance. A (small) reward based system might just be the way to truly get the weight-loss to stick. I have noticed, just like Caroline, that when I don't deprive my body and I live in moderation I tend to feel better and see results that actually make a difference.

A Must Read

I was so proud of myself when I lost 24 pounds in 4 months, then I saw that this women lost 44 in 3 months, Wow, I had to read how she did it. I am so glad I purchased this book. Not only is it packed full of great information, but I love how the author has added humor in the description. Just like the author I began to grow my own food, it not only is so much better for you to eat, but is better for your entire body as well. I love the suggestions she gives about coming up with new rewards. This is a great book and will have a permanent place in my library.
