Good but i think short
By rosy
I state: i'm just a curious person and i'm not suffering (i think Emoticon wink ) any mental illness but mental illness was a part of my life: i assisted and helped a family in which was born an autistic child. Of course, autism is not properly a "mental illness", anyway you're dealing with usual behaviors… This situation made me think a lot about people who is affected by mental illness and I identified with them. I need to understand, to the present day, it is possible to overcome the stigma mental illness and this book is giving me a good prospective about this topic (for example thanks this book i finally understand the importance to join a support group..) It's an essential book but I advise it to any one who need help to understand how to walk the way to come out from the mental illness. I hope my opinion will be useful to you! Rosy

Learn how to stop mental health stigma with this book.
By John C. David
I felt sad upon learning that there are people with illness who are being discriminated instead of being helped and understood, turning them out to get discouraged and hesitant in finding support to get or maintain their required treatment.
This book is short, however, it did provide enough information for me to understand mental health stigma and how to treat people who are suffering from it. I believe, this book aims to let us be aware of this issue that people with mental illness are going through, at least, to send a message that any individuals who are experiencing mental illness deserve to be treated with understanding and kindness. If you have limited knowledge about this topic, this book is worth reading.

Great overview of mental health issues!
By Brandon Parshall
This book does a great job discussing how sometimes there is an absence of understanding when it comes to a person's mental health. People don't realize how serious mental health issues are, and this book helps to further one's knowledge and really makes you think about mental health issues.
